Recipe: Alex's Post-Workout Smoothie

By Alex Chester

I am all about getting my greens in. It’s honestly the only way I can poop regularly... TMI?

This is my go-to smoothie recipe that I usually make after I workout!

Ingredients

  • 1 banana

  • 5 frozen strawberries

  • A hand full of frozen blueberries

  • Two handfuls of kale/spinach

  • 1 cup of almond milk

Scoop of protein powder vanilla or chocolate flavored. I prefer to use Vega. It’s plant based and as a ton of good shit in it! It’s really expensive in stores but hello cheap via Amazon!

Another fun alternative recipe I like (especially if I have Vega’s chocolate flavored) is:

  • 1 frozen banana

  • A handful of frozen blueberries

  • 1 cup of almond milk

  • 1 tablespoon of peanut butter

  • A scoop of chocolate Vega Protein Powder

  • Two handfuls of greens

It’s like a healthy milkshake! See, getting your daily amount of greens and other good shit really is easy and tasty too!
