When Celia Mei Rubin (Broadway’s Matilda, The Great Comet, National Tour of Chicago) turned 35, she celebrated by performing her very first solo cabaret, #34andsingle. With a career that’s spanned 15 years, the West End, Broadway, regional houses, and even a ship, Celia has worked with some pretty cool songwriters and celebrates her birthday for a second year with a solo cabaret, this time singing songs exclusively by songwriters she has had the opportunity to personally know and work with. Come celebrate her 36th birthday with her at The Green Room 42 as she reminisces on her time spent in rehearsal rooms with Maltby & Shire, Jason Robert Brown, Tim Minchin, Dave Malloy, Pearl Rhein, and other pretty cool makers of musical scores. You might even see why this tiny but fierce actor still manages to fool people into believing that she is a decade younger than she is. She is #35andfabulous...turning 36 and still fabulous!
